Arcane Archives has developed and evolved over the last 4 years as one mans project to create an online, archive of occult, hermetic and magickal knowledge. It started in late 2006 while attending college, i began to explore the more esoteric forms of spiritualism and religious practices. I created the original website as a forum that people could discuss the ideas and practices they have encountered and discuss the philosophy behind the ideas!
Original Launch
The original launch was highly unsuccessful, due to the fact that i had no experience in either the occult or web design. All my effort were in vain, but that did’nt stop me! I discovered Mind and Magick, i met a lot of very helpful people on that website. They really guided me well on both my adventures. Networking with them my occult website began to take off, and so did my spiritual advancement.
2nd Site Launch
The Second launch of our magick website, came around a year later in 2007. At that point it moved from a occult/hermetic forum, to a magick e book provider and a resource to learn and grow with new articles provided as i grew and developed my knowledge. The site went really well, until it was hacked apparently my server sent over 100k emails…. yea not such a good thing. So i took the site down for awhile.
3rd Launch
Once i decided to get back in the game, i wanted to do it right, so i put a under construction sign up and began working… then life got in the way.. funny how that happens. Well i would work on it occasionally over the next several years but it was never at its former glory….
The Magickal Revival of Arcane Archives.
I’m sitting here at my desk tonight, working on the blog… yes its moved from a forum, to a full advanced website to a blog… but i think that’s what will make this site grow and take off. I want everyone who visits this site to help contribute and expand the knowledge of hermetic and occult studies. The true occult study is not dieing its having a come back. I want to help provide to the knowledge using all that i have learned and compile with what others have learned.
